National Internet Safety Month

June 25, 2015
Pumpic

This year is the 10th anniversary of National Internet Safety Month celebrated in June all over the United States. Back in 2005, the U.S. Senate established a resolution to raise awareness about online security issues. Since then a great attention is paid towards an opportunity of educating the society concerning the importance of Internet safety, especially when it comes to children on the web.

Pumpic is not out of the swim as well. We keep carry on various activities concerned with child protection and online security. Among the measures we conduct are:

  • creating informative and awareness-raising materials,
  • sharing recommendations, recent news and statistic data.

We work with families and parents to teach them how to keep children safe on the Internet as well as how to prevent possible dangers they may be exposed to: cyberbullying, online predators’ attacks, web fraud, sexting, 18+ content etc.

One of our recent lay-outs is an infographic How to Protect Children on Smartphones and Tablets. It reflects topical perils children may face while using their mobile gadgets and surfing online.

However, the basis of Pumpic activity is a parental control application designed to protect kids remotely by means of modern technologies and mobile devices most of them have. This application allows parents to control cell phone use, monitor incoming and outgoing calls, view sent and received text messages, follow browsing history, monitor, block, or limit application and web sources.

Generally, Pumpic app involves more than 24 useful tracking features, which let parents follow all parts of their kids’ lives, ensure responsible and safe Internet usage, and prevent their loved ones from all kinds of online danger.

Pumpic takes care of your kids and keep your eyes open on daily basis.
