Careful parents always take care of their children and do their best to provide them with comprehensive protection. Most of them turn to parental controls, which allow monitoring and controlling many activities kids are engaged in daily. However, there are some, who try the roads less travelled and invent really sophisticated security methods.

Anyway, when it comes to modern gadgets and online access with both said to be known sources of danger, any means are for the good. Better safe than sorry after all.

Check out some impressing inventions parents made up to break of the Internet overuse habit and protect children on mobile phones and computers.

  • A dad from Israel has designed a system where his children need to work out on an exercise bike, if they want to use a computer. The PC is locked until the kid spins the pedals. As soon as they put the bike in motion, they get credits, which unlock the computer for a specific period of time. When credits are running out, the computer gets locked again until they spin it again to get enough credits to unlock it.
  • An American dad has developed a computer program that runs a tricky puzzle every 30 minutes and blocks the system until it is solved. Thus, if his children want to use the Internet they at the same time need to complete various tasks, which at the same time improve the powers of kids’ mind.
  • Another dad from the USA has developed a mobile phone application, which sends an alert to parents’ smartphone, when a kid presses any button for a prolonged time period on his or her devices.

Parents are responsible for their kids. They should learn and educate themselves and teach children behave safely. At least until they hit the full age. If you are not one of those designers and developers ready to invent something new and sophisticated for your little kid, there is a wise, reliable solution available in a click.
