iOS10 update

Just a week after the new iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus presentation the long-awaited iOS 10 is here, too!

Pumpic is Compatible with iOS 10

We at Pumpic strive to keep our customers up to date with the latest novelties. Hence, we are excited to announce that our iCloud (without jailbreak) Monitoring Solution is fully compatible with iOS 10. This means you can utilize Pumpic’s comprehensive parental control features on Apple handheld devices with the world’s possibly most advanced mobile operating system.

What’s new in iOS 10?

During the presentation, Apple insisted that the latest iOS update with its new interface will bring major changes to your daily iPhone, iPad, and iPod routine. Well, it certainly did for many users yesterday… In case you’ve missed the news: the update temporarily bricked many iPhones and iPads due to some installation process error. Apple issued instructions on how to fix the bug and says it is now safe to update, but we urge you to backup your iOS device before doing this.

Pumpic Supports iOS 10

Also, you might want to check this list of the most prominent iOS 10 features:

  • Redesigned Lock screen – the removal of the iconic “Slide to Unlock” feature, new Widgets side panel, revamped notifications, improved “Raise to Wake” feature and other minor enhancements make the all new Lock screen experience in iOS 10.
  • Huge changes and new features for Messages – background animations, bubble effects, rich links, and Digital Touch, the sketching feature, handwritten notes, hidden “invisible ink” messages, quick “Tapback” replies, and bigger (predictive!) emoji will change the way you text.
  • Siri got even better, smarter and more understanding. Chances are you won’t have to talk like a robot to your iPhone. Besides, Apple allowed developers to build Siri support into their apps. This means you can now ask Siri to do things like call an Uber or send a message in WhatsApp.
  • Control Center is swiped up from the bottom and decluttered into several panels.
  • Photos app features impressive facial and object recognition capabilities, which power a new Memories feature for rediscovering forgotten moments.
  • Remodeled Apple Music gained better content discovery and a new focus on lyrics.
  • Maps have got a makeover – cleaner interface, proactive suggestions and integrated third-party apps.
  • Deletable onboard apps – it’s now possible to delete almost any pre-installed app.
  • In iOS 10, Apple Pay is available for purchases via Safari on participating websites; payments are authenticated via Touch ID just as they are within apps.
  • A dedicated “Home” app is available for HomeKit devices.

The latest iOS update is available from official Apple website.
